Hi, I'm Dog Trainer Joe of Dog of Hearts LLC, which is a leading dog training company specializing in positive reinforcement techniques. I am an experienced dog trainer who has trained thousands of dogs of all types, and I am a credentialed American Kennel Club Evaluator.
Dog of Hearts is dedicated to helping you build a strong and loving bond with your furry friend while training beginner, intermediate, or advanced skills. I understand that every dog is unique, and I tailor each training program to meet individual needs. Whether you're a new pet owner dealing with behavioral challenges (barking, nipping, jumping, pulling, etc.) or are focused on training valuable skills, I am here to help.
In-person training is available in your home for Orange County, NY, and much of Sullivan & Ulster County, NY, as well as Lords Valley, PA. In-person sessions are also available on location in Goshen, NY. Virtual sessions are available to all via Facetime.

Intro Session
In-Person: $60

Want to meet your trainer and get a feel for Dog of Hearts training before you dive in? Sign up for a 30-minute introductory session and meet your trainer in person in your home, on location in Goshen, NY, or via FaceTime!
You can tell your trainer all about your hopes and training goals for your pup. Your trainer will provide advice to help you right away, and your trainer will craft a training agenda for future sessions.

Private In-Person Dog Training tailored specifically to your needs. Dog Trainer Joe will come to your home (if within travel radius) or you can meet up for training in Goshen, NY.
Whether you need to address behavioral issues (jumping, leash pulling, mouthing, excessive barking, etc) or develop training skills, Dog of Hearts will provide the instruction you need to reach your goals.
Plus, if you have any training issues between sessions, all active clients receive 24/7 phone/text support for any unexpected problems or questions.

Virtual consultation and training sessions are offered to everyone everywhere via FaceTime.
Our clients are always pleasantly surprised at how productive virtual sessions can be. Virtual sessions are a great way to discuss your issues, get advice, and even actively train your dog with real-time instruction from your Dog of Hearts trainer.
